How could anyone hurt a child? It's shocking every time we hear another victim's story of abuse, neglect or abandonment. Yet, in the United States, child abuse is the leading cause of death in children under the age of 4. This problem is preventable though, and that's why we started the All-Star Children's Foundation.
The All-Star Children's Foundation (formerly Sarasota Sports Foundation) is determined to break the cycle of child abuse, neglect and abandonment in our community. Thanks to the generosity of many corporate sponsors, donors and volunteers, we have raised over $2,500,000 in the past four years. Our Celebrity Golf Tournament and Tennis Classic are our two largest fundraisers, and participating is a fun way for everyone to help the children in our community that need it most.

On Nov. 6, 2011 the Players Theatre dedicated the last performance of "Seussical the Musical" to the ASCF! We raised awareness and dollars to help ALL children be as happy as these children seem to be!
Spirit of Service
The All-Star Children's Foundation is pleased and proud to announce that Graci McGillicuddy, our board chair, has been awarded the Florida Senate's "Spirit of Service" Award! This is the highest honor bestowed on civilians by the Florida Senate. The award was created to recognize Florida's "unsung heroes", those who, through their acts of service, preserve America's long-standing tradition and commitment to volunteerism and make Florida a better state.
