Bailey graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree, she attended The University of South Carolina and completed a Master of Social Work degree. Bailey has worked with numerous nonprofits that provide support, advocacy and clinical services to abused and neglected children. She is nationally certificated in providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and is also trained through the University of Oklahoma in facilitating the Problematic Sexual Behavior-Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for preschool, school-aged and adolescent children. In 2017, Bailey became the primary handler of Canine Companions for Independence® Facility Dog Poppy VII. Poppy underwent a two-year, extensive and specialized training program and learned over 40 commands before being matched with Bailey. Poppy’s job is to help motivate and engage clients in the evidenced-based treatments provided at All Star Children’s Foundation.
